I have an Easton Stealth softball bat. This past weekend I thought I may broken it.?

The handle now rattles. Some people tell me that means the bat is broken in. Is it broken in or broke?

It is now dead!

The Stealth is prone to breakage at the area where the handle attaches. Per ASA bat rules, if a bat has any internal rattles it is not legal for play. Most other associations use that same standard. If you hold the bat by the knob end straight out and wiggle, you will probably feel the barrel a bit loose.

In 2008 at ASA nationals (all combined) there were over 250 of these bats thrown out due to breakage!
