What could be wrong with my left hand?
I had a baseball game tonight, and my left hand started hurting and then the pain kept getting worse. It happened after I got on base for catcher’s interference. I hit the mitt of the catcher and got on base. Maybe that messed up my swing and hurt my hand. It got worse as the game carried on, and then it hurt just to swing the bat. I also pitched 4 innings, but I am a righty and it only affected my glove hand.
I will try to describe it my best now, so you can figure what the problem is. It hurts to move it past the point where you have to push your hand. In other words, where the hand stops to rest with no pressure on it. (sorry if that’s confusing). It hurts mostly on the bone that seesm to connect the hand to the wrist. The one that bulges out.
Could this be a sprain or a twist, or something not bad? If you need more information, I will provide it when you need it. Thanks!
It IS possible that you broke it or sprained it. I know hospital trips suck, but you need to get it looked at. Call your doc for a fast appt as soon as your can or go to the nearest emergency room.
